The Vagabond's Lore
A vagabond sings aloud
His hands playing a harp;
Though an unlettered guy
He's aable to think so sharp.
He talks of kingdoms grand
Those presiding late civilizations;
And of their perishes
And the put-forth lessons.
He has his good lore
In it he does adore;
The Gods that arose
And miracles they bore.
This music of the vagabond
Ties a sort-of Bond
Between the times present
And his sung Stories;
And makes us think to learn,
From the past Grieves and Glories..
