Fireworks adore the sky, Illuminates The darkest night of the month. Alas, This festivity of joy; Fails to erode: The saline filth, Is stuck So firm That the mind stays numb: The cuckoo sings, And shyulis bloom; Cannot hear it, Also cannot see. Samaritans of the light fail to impress, Whereas The nightbirds chirps Alights to the brain, Aiding the lament, Ailing the perceive; The body-in-waiting, For the dawn, Fatigues. And before the horizon, shows crimson lights The conscience passes, In slumber deep And all hopes fail, Against this sleep.                      September 2009
